Everytime I meet non Polish people who are visiting Poland for the first time the conversation is more or less the same. All people express how surprised they are when they see for example Warsaw, Cracow or the Gdansk Old Town. Due to the limited amount of (positive) news about Poland in the West, most people still expect to see a poor, grey and dirty country. Fortunately we know better.
Good to know that years and years ago many ships from Western Europe were visiting the harbor on this picture. The crane (un)loaded these ships.
